The Amherst Cider Festival
An Afternoon In the Orchard

Saturday September 23, 2017 from 12pm to 4pm.
at the Lindabury Orchard at the top of Christian Hill

We celebrate the 15th anniversary of the year the Amherst Conservation Commission with the critical assistance of the Amherst Land Trust purchased this beautiful property and placed it into permanent conservation. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs so your whole family can enjoy an afternoon in the orchard!

The centerpiece of this year's Cider Festival will be our "press your own" event, where you can press your own fresh apple cider. The ticket price includes an apple bag that can be filled with apples. Once the bag is filled, festival goers can immediately wash their apples and press them into cider. Each apple bag will generate about a quart of cider!

Just some of the action you can expect at the Cider Festival:

The Cider Festival is organized by a small group of Amherst citizens called Friends of the Orchard [FOTO]. The proceeds of the Cider Festival are 100% dedicated to maintenance and upkeep of this beautiful public orchard. Volunteers are welcome and encouraged to contact the Friends of the Orchard amherstciderfest@gmail.com if you would like to help.

WARNING: The end product from the cider presses will not have been pasteurized and, therefore, may contain harmful bacteria that can cause serious illness in children, the elderly, and persons with weakened immune systems.

All Tickets can be Purchased at the Gate,
with Cash or Check.
